The Child Haus is a temporary shelter for indigent patients from the different provinces who have cancer or other dreaded diseases and have no place to stay in Metro Manila while undergoing medical evaluation or treatment. It provides free room and board to it's resident.
The CHILD Haus is run along the principles of hospice care and promotes the concept of holistic care healing through its various programs, services and activities. Through the initiative of Ricky Reyes Foundation, CHILD Haus was created to provide respite for cancer-stricken children from the provinces who are in need of financial support for their treatment and home to stay.
It was through the efforts of philanthropist, Ricky Reyes that CHILD Haus was able to extend a helping and healing hand to children with cancer from all over the Philippines. Mother Ricky credits to continued success of CHILD Haus to the never ending kindness and generosity of their various donors and benefactors, most especially to SM Holdings Inc. President, Hans Sy.
CHILD Haus has found a home in Paco, Manila all thanks to Hans SY or "Kuya Hans ng CHILD Haus" It was on Mr. Sy's 60th Birthday in 2015 that he decided to build a bigger and better home for the children of CHILD Haus
